On Friday, Lois led her team to a third place finish in the Metro Buckeye Conference meet by finishing in second place, behind Bethany from Xenia Christian, who won easily on her home course, one of the toughest in the area. Paloma finished fifth. Kelly was back in action after receiving treatment for her calves. She was still hurting, but was definitely running more freely. Xenia Christian finished first and Miami Valley placed second, using a not-uncommon but still controversial move of adding ringers from the soccer team. Next meet is the John Bryan Invitational on Tuesday, then the District meet is Saturday. See meet results here.
