Viewed at Little Art Theater in Yellow Springs. Sheila and I saw this last night as part of the “dinner-and-a-movie” deal. This is an excellent film about a U.S. bomb squad stationed in 2004 Baghdad that moves fast, keeps you on the edge of your seat, and makes you think. The characters are more well-developed than you usually get in an action film, as they all have flaws which can be as debilitating as their heroism is redeeming. The film makes you both appreciate those courageous enough to do the dirty-work of war and question the reasons why such courageous people had to do their work in this particular war. This film gets a 94! on metacritic.
