Lois and 2 teammates traveled to Grove City, OH (just SE of Columbus) for a 3on3 tournament at the Our Lady of Perpetual Hope school. It was the fifth and final tournament of the Summer, following Chillicothe, Yellow Springs, Maria Stein, and HoopsForHope (Lewis Center, OH). One pleasant surprise, after preparing for near-90-degree heat, was that the tournament was actually indoors. The girls got eliminated without winning a game, but they came very close to defeating a team of older girls in the second game. The tournament featured some excellent players (most in the girls high school bracket had been playing AAU) and great fundamentals at even the youngest age groups. As always, the trip was filled with much fun and a lot of laughs.
