Viewed on DVD. Not much to say other than it’s pretty much what you’d expect from modern Bond. I enjoyed it, but I think I liked the last one more. I will point out a weakness of many movies that include heroes and villians: when you have a villian that is more cerebral than physically imposing, why even have a physical showdown fight between hero and villian, and if that does happen, why doesn’t the hero dispose of the villian in about 2 seconds? The directors seem to be slaves to some formula that says things have to culminate in hand-to-hand combat, but the result is a big loss in credibility/believability.
Metacritic gives it a 58
